HUTECH and Sheffield Hallam University (UK) signed Memorandum of Understanding

In the afternoon of October 25th, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) and Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdoms) have offically signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the cooperative trainning program in Automotive Technology. This is a part of the global cooperative strategy of Sheffield Hallam University with reputable universities in the world.

Within the scope of the discussion between the universities, the parties agreed on the development of a cooperative trainning program in Vietnam at HUTECH, together with the exchange of lecturers and students in the field of Automotive Technology. This agreement opens up opportunities for HUTECH students and lecturers to study and research at Sheffield Hallam University.

Together with the agreement, right in the same afternoon, representatives of Sheffield Hallam University have presented 2 seminars “Global Engagement” and “Computer Simulation in Engineering and Manufacturing: Airbus and Beyond”.
 
The seminar “Global Engagement” presented by Prof.  Roger Eccleston focused on the
global cooperative strategy of Sheffield Hallam University, a critical part of which being establishing and developing cooperative relations with Universities with similar missions and strategies. These cooperative programs are expected to bring international experiences to lecturers, staffs, and students of participating universities.

The Seminar “Computer Simulation in Engineering and Manufacturing” attracting the interest of HUTECH Technology students

The seminar “Computer Simulation in Engineering and Manufacturing: Airbus and Beyond” presented by Prof. Terrence Perera discussed the application of computer simulation into the manufactory of Airbus airplanes - the leading airplane in Europe. The seminar introduced a variety of simulation tools as well as their application into processes of production, assembly, and other supply chain activities of Airbus airplanes.

The agreement between the two universities, together with the interesting information it offered, provided not only HUTECH lecturers, but also students, with new and useful contents in the field, aiding then in discovering and studying new technologies of the world; and with them, the methods of approach, research and present to the standards of a reputable European University.
