Leadership –Being feature in 4.0 industrial revolution

On January 18th, 2019, Future Business Administrator Club(FBAC) and Communist Youth Union of the Faculty of Business Administration of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) jointly held a seminar titled “Leadership – Being feature in 4.0 industrial revolution” at the University.

Present at the seminar were representatives from HUTECH and FBAC, including Dr. Kieu Tuan, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam, Vice President of HUTECH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Tu, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. To Hoai Thang, Deputy Director of Center of Business Relations Center; along with lecturers, students at the Faculty, and Head of the FBAC.

At the seminar, speakers, Jimmy Thai, Vice President for Technology, Science Applications International Corporation(SAIC); Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Tuan, Vice President Human Resources at Marico South East Asia(MSEA), and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Mai, Managing Director at Navigos Search Vietnam, shared their expertise on the position, functions and characteristics needed to become an economic administrator in 4.0 industrial revolution with HUTECH students.

Mr. Jimmy Thai introducing an overview of “Leadership” – a necessity for future administrators.

Particularly, Mr. Jimmy Thai expressed the important role of the young generation, who are strongly exposing to new and modern technology. On the other hands, Mr Ngoc Anh Tuan provided information about the need of administrators that businesses are seeking in 4.0 industrial revolution. The last person, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai shared her own perspective on answering a main question “How to prepare for your dream job?
 

The seminar attracted the participation of numerous HUTECH students and lecturers at Faculty of Business Administration.

With extensive experience in human resources management, the three experts brought useful advice and knowledge to students regarding future administration in 4.0 industrial revolution. In addition, students would have good preparations to meet the requirements of businesses and become successful administrators.
