HUTECH students’ automatic body temperature measurement system is widely applied at the University

On May 8th, 2020, a group of students of the Institute of Technology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) presented the temperature-measuring system and automatic antibacterial hand-washing device designed by themselves to the University.

Stemming from the idea of a body temperature meter to help health workers keep a safe distance while measuring the body temperature of students, lecturers and staffs, the student group including: Ta Tan Tinh (16DCKA2), Vo Chi Bao (18DOTB2), Pham Duc Cong (18DOTC4), Nguyen Cong Danh (17DOTA5), Nguyen Thi Diem Uyen (19DLQA3), Nguyen Ngo Quyen (19DOTA5), Tran Trung Kien (18DOTC3), under technical instructions of Dr. Nguyen Van Nhanh - Vice Director of HUTECH Institute of Technology, has invented the body temperature measuring system and automatic hand-sanitizer device.

This system is designed with 02 functions: Automatic body temperature measurement and temperature warning; and Automatic hand-sanitizing. Specifically, if the temperature is above 38 degrees Celsius, the system will automatically alert by emitting 03 warning sounds to warn that the body temperature is in excess of the prescribed temperature; otherwise if the temperature is below 38 degrees Celsius, the system will send out 01 sound to notify normal body temperature. All the above parameters will be displayed on the LED screen through a measuring eye.
