On the morning of April 23rd, the Center for Project Design (PD) under Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held the PD2 Poster Presentation session with the theme "Towards 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations in Vietnam (VSDGs)".

At the poster presentation session for the PD2 module, there was the participation of leaders of the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) along with lecturers responsible for teaching the module in their respective programs.

Instructors of the PD2 modules
With the theme "Towards 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations in Vietnam (VSDGs)", the projects presented at the PD2 poster session offer solutions to issues related directly to public health and the living environment, such as urban flooding during the monsoon season in big cities, garbage in canals, the treatment of toxins in food, etc.
Students present their projects and solutions to improve the quality of the urban living environment
Among the projects presented at the poster session, six projects received the highest reviews for their feasibility and practical application that could contribute positively to improving the quality of everyday life. These projects are as follows: Health issues among Vietnamese youth due to lack of physical exercise, Urban flooding in major Vietnamese cities during monsoon season, Severe soil pollution in Vietnam, Prevalent use of toxic chemicals and additives in food in Ho Chi Minh City, Illegal encroachment and use of public sidewalks, Heavy pollution of canal and waterway systems in Ho Chi Minh City.
Lecturers review and comment on the projects
After the PD2 poster presentation session, the groups of students will continue to carry out their projects in the PD3 module which is also the graduation project of VJIT students.
