On the morning of June 26th, the Vietnam - Korea Institute of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting and a time of cultural exchange with KeiMyung University to create the opportunity for students of the two schools to learn together about language and culture.

Participating in the meeting were Mr. Han Chung Seob - Director of the Representative Office of Daegu City in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Ha Ji Won - Lecturer at KeiMyung University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Dinh Nguyen - Vice President of HUTECH, Director of Vietnam - Korea Institute of Technology; Ms. Kwi Jeong - Vice President as well as lecturers and students of the Institute.

At the beginning of the exchange, Mr. Han Chung Seob shared about the friendship and on-going cooperation between the City Office of Daegu and HUTECH from 2021 up to now. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to further tighten the link between the two nations, Vietnam and Korea and hoped that the two sides would create many useful activities for students in the near future.

At the meeting, representatives of both groups gave introductions to their units by sharing information such as training programs, infrastructure, and learning environment. During their presentations both parties mentioned the distinct cultural characteristics of their respective countries, Vietnam and Korea, related to national identity, cuisine, traditional festivals, etc. After the introduction, the students exchanged and answered questions, became aware of each other's problems and participated in many interesting game activities to strengthen the close relationship.

The exchange opened up many prospects for future cooperative activities between the two groups. Such occasions would offer students more opportunities for study and exchange, thus contributing to a deeper appreciation of the cultural beauty of the two countries, Vietnam and Korea.
