On March 3rd 2012, two Vietnamese received merits from the mayor of Brisbane, Australia for their contribution as Brisbane International Student Ambassadors during the last year.
Huynh Thi Ngoc Han, Miss Tourism of the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2011( a Hutech Business Administration faculty alumni) and Tran Quoc Duy, a teacher from the southern province of Binh Phuoc, were appointed to be ambassadors last march to promote Brisbane as an international student destination in their home countries.
From 3/2011, Huynh Thi Ngoc Han and Tran Quoc Duy was chosen as ambassadors in this city. In the their ambassadorial term, Ngoc Han, Quoc Duy and many other Vietnamese students were successfully to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism in Australia by organizing Vietnamese culture day, performance night "Hello Vietnam" (Good Evening Vietnam), voting campaign for Ha Long Bay in the Brisbane and Gold Coast cities and so on.

From December of 2011, Ngoc Han and Quoc Duy were two among the first 29 international students named as Ambassadors of Friendship.

Since Ngoc Han won a title "Miss Tourist" in the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2011 contest, she tried her best to promote the beauty of Vietnamese Culture to international friends.
