HUTECH student was honored as Best actress at the Golden Kite Awards 2011

The Canh Dieu Vang ( Golden Kite Awards) 2011, the prestigious film award of the Vietnam Cinematography Association, were presented in the evening of March 17 in Hanoi.

The Golden Kite Awards 2011 announced its winners for the best cinema and television works. As fans of cinema and experts predicted, young actress Quynh Hoa, who played bold and rebellious Kim in “Sai Gon Yo”, by American director Stephan Gauger, deserved to receive Best Actress Award.

Quynh Hoa was honoured as Best Actress on the podium of Golden Kite Award 2011.

As usual, the feature film category is always the most interesting area. Among 12 feature films vying for the Golden Kite Awards this year, the actors awards are always a hot concerned prize.

A strong personality helped the HUTECH student to conquer audience

Quynh Hoa, the main actress in "Sai Gon Yo" is sophomore student from Hutech Business Administration Faculty. She has been chosen among famous actresses such as Phung Hoa Hoai Linh,  Ngo Thanh Van, Hong Anh, Phuong Thanh ... to  receive the highest award of the year.

There is her first time to play a main actress role, however, Quynh Hoa has demonstrated her talent for cinema. With the extremely impressive appearance in "Saigon Yo! " Quynh Hoa has brought Hutech students' image to the public.

With best Actress Awards of Golden Kite 2011 Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa one more time proved that  HUTECH is nurturing environment for the Vietnamese artistic talents. Definitely, Ms Kim (Saigon Yo!) will contribute much more to the upcoming movies , simultaneously, her success becomes truly dynamic category which impulse Hutech talents to confidently asserted themselves in artistic fields.

Some of the latest achievements of Quynh Hoa:

- Third prize of Jumping Step Children, Second Prize of Step 2010, Third prize of Teen Step Dance , Second Prize of Parkson Flemington, First Prize of the VTC  game (dance group Step Up Crew)

- First and second prizes of the Hip hop Yo 2011 contest

- Best Actress Award of the Golden Kite 2011

- In the coming time Quynh Hoa will play a main role in a short film with the topic "School Love" directed by Vu Ngoc Phuong
