HUTECH and Tajen University (Taiwan) signed MoU

On March 07, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held discussions with Tajen University (Taiwan) for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Representatives of Tajen University included Dr. Dail-Huang Kuo - President, Professor of Pharmacy; Dr. Sam PS Huang - Faculty of Research and Development, Faculty of International Affairs, Associate Professor of Nursing; and Dr. Eric KL Lee - Director of Center of International Affairs, Associate Professor of Pharmacy. For HUTECH, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Vice President of HUTECH; Dr. Kieu Thi Van Anh - Dean of Chinese Studies; and Dr. Huynh Bich Ngoc - Vice Dean of Chinese Studies.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien briefly introduced HUTECH training programs, facilities, and international exchange programs for students, lecturers, and postgraduates. Given HUTECH’s strengths in Engineering and Health Sciences and Tajen University’s experience of more than 58 years in the Pharmacy Industry, both parties would like to closely partner with each other in the long run. Additionally, Tajen University aspired to incorporate the 2+2 joint-training program into Pharmacy, Tourism - Restaurant - Hotel Management, and Social Sciences majors. Notably, the Taiwanese government offers various policies to support joint-training programs for Vietnamese students in Taiwan and internship programs at Taiwanese businesses, creating favorable conditions for students of both universities.
