HUTECH strengthens international cooperation and develops the ASEAN–Canada education ecosystem

To foster dialogue and promote international education cooperation, on July 29, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with representatives from AAUCo Global University Incubator.
 
During the meeting, Ms. Jennifer Montero, Founder and CEO of AAUCo Global University Incubator and Official Representative for NSCC (Nova Scotia Community College), Canada in the ASEAN region, expressed her appreciation for the cultural and artistic activities of HUTECH students.

She previously served as a judge at The 1st ICE – International Cultural Exchange competition, where faculty and students from the Institute of Culture, Arts and Sports at HUTECH made a strong impression by winning six prestigious awards. She also participated as a guest at the Global Festival 2025 hosted by HUTECH Institute of International Education. According to her, such initiatives not only highlight Vietnam’s rich cultural identity but also demonstrate the strong international integration potential of HUTECH students.
 
The two sides agreed to move forward with transnational education programs aligned with HUTECH’s internationalization strategy. In addition, they aim to launch exchange programs for faculty and students between HUTECH and NSCC Canada to enhance academic exchange and expand international exposure for learners.

Representatives from both sides agreed on the direction of implementing transnational education programs
 
In particular, HUTECH and NSCC plan to co-organize academic and cultural exchange events both online and on-site, while also strengthening HUTECH’s role as a connector in the education cooperation ecosystem between ASEAN and Canada. These efforts are expected to offer students comprehensive opportunities for learning, research, and the development of both professional and global cultural competencies.

The session once again reaffirmed HUTECH's commitment to continuously expanding its international cooperation, bringing practical and long-term benefits to students in their journey toward global integration and holistic development.
