As one of 12 testing sites nationwide for the 2025 International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Vietnam National Contest, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) demonstrates its professionalism and strong investment in academic activities, particularly in the field of technology. This marks a solid step as the university prepares to host the ICPC Asia HoChiMinh City Regional Contest this December.

HUTECH is one of 12 national testing sites for ICPC 2025 – National Contest
ICPC is the world’s largest and most prestigious programming competition, with over 50 years of history. It attracts hundreds of thousands of university students from countries and territories around the globe each year. This year, the Vietnam National Round takes place from November 8 to 9 across 12 test sites nationwide, including HUTECH.
Dr. Le Dinh Luong affirms HUTECH’s commitment to providing the best conditions for a professional and effective contest environment
Speaking at the opening ceremony of ICPC Vietnam 2025, Dr. Le Dinh Luong, Vice President at HUTECH and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, stated: “This year, HUTECH is honored to be entrusted to host ICPC 2025, as well as the upcoming ICPC Asia Regional Round in December. The university is fully committed to preparing and utilizing its best facilities to create an ideal, professional, and effective testing environment that enables all participants to achieve their best results.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dinh Bay hopes students will achieve great success in the contest
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dinh Bay, Head of the Faculty of Information Technology at HUTECH and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, representing the Academic Council, shared with the contestants: “The Organizing Committee hopes all teams will strictly follow the contest rules and refrain from using any unauthorized tools or methods during the competition. We compete not only for high results but also to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and respect for knowledge. Hopefully, ICPC Vietnam 2025 will continue to be a platform where students can shine, achieve remarkable success, and bring pride to themselves, their universities, and Vietnam.”
Nearly 200 contestants from 60 outstanding teams representing 10 universities officially entered the competition
After the opening ceremony, nearly 200 contestants from 60 outstanding teams representing 10 universities officially began the 2025 ICPC Vietnam National Contest at HUTECH, competing over five hours. The final results will be determined following a rigorous evaluation and grading process to identify the top teams advancing to the ICPC Asia HoChiMinh City Regional Contest, which will take place at HUTECH in December.
