Following an external audit conducted from 26 to 28 January, the expert team from the Vietnam Certification Center (QUACERT) completed the surveillance audit of the management system for educational organizations in accordance with ISO 21001:2018 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH).
The closing session on 28 January concluded with a comprehensive review of the audit findings
Reporting at the closing session, Mr. Le Vu Soai, Head of the audit team, noted that the majority of HUTECH’s management system was found to be compliant, reflecting the University’s serious adherence to the requirements of ISO 21001:2018. He highly appreciated the progressive innovations and improvements, particularly the adjustments to curricula toward a more practical and scientific orientation that effectively meets learners’ needs.

Overall, the results showed that training effectiveness was demonstrated in an objective manner, with core learning outcomes clearly defined. In addition, the Head of the audit team proposed several constructive recommendations to support the University in further improving its management system in the coming period.
The expert team highly appreciated the development orientation and leadership role of the University and expressed their thanks to the Center for Accreditation and Quality Assurance and all faculty and staff for their close coordination throughout the assessment process
At the same time, Mr. Phung Nhi Phuong, a member of the audit team, emphasized HUTECH’s strong focus on the continuous improvement of its management system, clearly reflecting a human-centered approach in supporting learners. Management processes, educational service delivery, record handling, and learner support services are systematically designed and transparent. These efforts contribute to enhancing the learning experience and improving the University’s operational effectiveness.

Acknowledging the practical evaluations from the expert team, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of the University, shared that HUTECH consistently prioritizes the integration of international education trends into its courses and curricula, while also promoting the application of artificial intelligence and sustainable innovation. These efforts help students develop competencies and better meet the demands of the labor market.
