HUTECH Spring 2026: A Multinational Tet Celebration on Campus

The spring atmosphere at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) came alive on January 22 as traditional values blended with global cultures in a spirit of community and sharing.
From early morning, Sai Gon Campus was filled with excitement as HUTECH Spring Fair 2026 and the HUTECH Global Spring Festival 2026 officially began. The campus was transformed by vibrant colors, cheerful spring music, and the enthusiastic participation of students, creating a festive scene full of youthful energy and a strong sense of international integration.
At the HUTECH Spring Fair area, faculties and institutes carefully designed and creatively adapted their booths, combining the traditional beauty of bamboo, rattan, and leaves with distinctive features of each academic discipline. The folk game zones were constantly lively, with the familiar calls of lotto games, the thrill of lucky draws, and spinning wheels drawing large crowds.

Sai Gon Campus immersed in the festive atmosphere of HUTECH Spring Fair 2026
Alongside this lively atmosphere, the HUTECH Global Spring Festival 2026 was also launched, offering an impressive visual and culinary experience. The culinary experience became more exciting than ever, with the rich flavors of Vietnamese traditional dishes blending with the novelty of international cuisine, such as sweet donuts and dorayaki, refreshing rice milk, and flavorful dumplings.
The highlight that captured everyone’s attention was the multinational fashion showcase. Iconic traditional costumes including Hanfu, Qipao, Kimono, and Hanbok appeared one after another, creating a vibrant cultural exchange. The most proud and memorable moment came with the final appearance of the graceful Vietnamese Ao Dai, reaffirming that national identity remains at the heart of global integration.

Beyond its role as an entertainment festival, the most distinctive feature of this year’s HUTECH Spring series was its deep humanitarian value. All profits from food and game booths were contributed to meaningful activities under the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2026.
