HUTECH New Year Gathering for the Year of the Fire Horse 2026: Connecting internal strength, affirming position, moving forward with confidence

On the morning of February 24, the eighth day of the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse, the vibrant spring atmosphere at Sai Gon Campus welcomed the HUTECH community as faculty and staff gathered for the 2026 Lunar New Year Meeting.
The event was attended by Dr. Kieu Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Standing Member of the University Board of Directors; Distinguished Teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Minh Thi, Chairman of the Founding Council, along with members of the Founding Council; Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung, Chairman of the University Board of Directors, together with members of the Board; Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc, President of the University, along with members of the Board of Presidents and leaders, faculty, and staff from across the University.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Sc. Ho Dac Loc, on behalf of the University leadership, extended his New Year wishes for good health and peace to members of the Founding Council and all faculty and staff. He shared, “The Year of the Fire Horse also marks HUTECH’s 31st anniversary as we confidently enter a new stage of development with greater aspirations and responsibilities. I believe that with unity and shared determination, HUTECH will continue to grow in a human-centered direction, spread positive values throughout society, and make meaningful contributions to the country’s new era.”

Prof. Dr. Sc. Ho Dac Loc extended New Year wishes to members of the Founding Council and all faculty and staff
Continuing the heartfelt atmosphere, Distinguished Teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Minh Thi offered New Year greetings to the entire University community. His message conveyed not only wishes for health and peace, but also encouragement for each individual to strengthen their inner capacity and work together to further advance HUTECH’s development.

I wish you all good health, happiness in your families, and continued success in your educational mission. May our University grow ever stronger and endure for generations to come.”

Lively spring melodies filled the air, while enthusiastic applause and warm laughter created an atmosphere that was both formal and intimate. A highlight of the event was the traditional lucky draw, where red envelopes of varying value symbolized good fortune and the proactive spirit of seizing new opportunities in the year ahead.
