Recently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) and Sigma University (India), successfully co-organized the International Conference on Advanced Research in Science, Technology and Management 2026 (SICARSTM-2026).
The conference was held from April 28 to 29
Conducted in both in-person and online formats, the conference brought together a large number of scientists, academics, experts, researchers, and industry representatives from various countries. The event served as a platform for participants to share research findings, explore emerging trends, and propose innovative solutions in science, technology, and management, all in support of sustainable development goals.

The conference focused on three key thematic areas: life sciences, health, environment, and sustainable development; engineering, computer science, and emerging technologies; and management, innovation, interdisciplinary research, and policy frameworks. The presentation sessions fostered meaningful engagement among academia, industry, and policymakers, helping strengthen research collaboration and knowledge exchange in an increasingly globalized world.

As a co-organizer, HUTECH made significant contributions to the overall success of the conference. Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, participated as a keynote speaker, sharing professional insights alongside experts and scholars from leading universities and research institutions around the world.

In addition, HUTECH actively contributed to the conference’s academic activities through its representatives on the International Advisory Committee, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet, Head of the Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management; and Dr. Pham The Anh Phu, Lecturer and Researcher from the Faculty of Information Technology.
The strong interest from the scientific community in SICARSTM-2026 was reflected in the submission of more than 300 research abstracts for presentation at the conference. From these submissions, 25 full-length research papers were nominated for publication in international journals indexed in Scopus, helping disseminate valuable research outcomes to the global academic community.
