The event was highlighted with the presence of Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Quan – Former Minister of Education and Training, Chairman of the Association of Vietnam Universities-Colleges, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Vice- President of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), Vice - President of the Association of Vietnam University-College, MA. Tran Thi Bong Lai – Deputy - Director Office of the Association of Vietnam University - College, Dr. Kieu Tuan – Chairman of HUTECH, Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc – President of HUTECH, Dr. Luu Thanh Tam – Vice- President of HUTECH, Mr.Van Du– Vice - President of HUTECH, MA. Nguyen Thi Sau – Head of Testing and Quality Assurance Office, representatives of Center for Education Accreditation of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (CEA VNU-HCM), representatives of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, representatives of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, representatives of Education Quality Training and Support Center (EQTS), representatives of southern universities and colleges.
Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, in his opening speech at the meeting, said “In honour of all delegates at this meeting, we warmly congratulate HUTECH University to be the first private university having a training program which has achieved AUN quality assessment (AUN-QA) criteria in the framework of the topic “Applying AUN quality assessment criteria to training program at private universities in Ho Chi Minh City” which was approved by CEA VNU-HCM after passing the assessment process by AUN”
The prominent event happened after Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia’s speech was MA. Nguyen Thi My Ngoc directly awarded the Quality Assurance Certificate to Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc – President of HUTECH.
Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc – President of HUTECH was honoured to receive Quality Assurance Certificate from Center for Education Accreditation (CEA) – Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).
The topic “Applying AUN quality assessment criteria to training program at private universities in Ho Chi Minh City” funded by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology has implemented since 2014. After approving the AUN-QA external assessment, the training programs of HUTECH Bio-Food Technology And Environment Faculty is the only program achieved the AUN-QA Criteria to be granted AUN-QA certificate by CEA VNU-HCM.
AUN-QA Criteria has implemented at HUTECH since 2014.
To share this joyful event, Dr. Luu Thanh Tam – Vice President of HUTECH said “This is a nice record of the process of organizing, managing and ensuring training quality of not only HUTECH University in but also HUTECH Bio-Food Technology and Environment Faculty within a year. Not only the testing and quality assurance activities in general but also the AUN-QA criteria in detail play important role and positive impact on the process of ensuring and improving HUTECH training quality.”
This record once again confirms HUTECH leading quality of training in Vietnam education system.
In the meeting, MA. Nguyen Thi Sau – Head of Testing and Quality Assurance Office and Dr. Thai Van Nam – Dean of Bio-Food Technology and Environment Faculty made the presentation on “HUTECH experiences in organizing AUN-QA external assessment of HUTECH Bio-Food Technology and Environment Faculty training program. After the report, delegates gave their questions or suggestions for exchanging experiences. The meeting ended successfully with the approving of EQTS 4th quarter work plan in 2015, delivered by Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh– Deputy Director of Education Quality Training and Support Center.
