The diversity of the committee members aimed to ensure objectivity and fairness throughout the evaluation process
This round of topics showcased a wide range of research directions, addressing real-world issues in the construction field. Highlighted topics included: diagnosing structural beam damage using curvature of deformation curves; using concrete wash water as a substitute for clean water in cement paste and mortar production; analyzing investment efficiency of apartment projects; factors affecting traffic project management in Binh Chanh District; and analyzing square and circular tunnels in clay soil at varying depths using the node-based smoothed finite element method.

Learners demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to connect theory with real-world construction practices
During the defense, learners not only showed a solid theoretical foundation, clear logic, and critical thinking skills, but also their ability to apply knowledge to practice. Based on real-life situations, they proactively proposed technical solutions with high applicability, evaluating the pros and cons of each to select the most optimal option. These solutions were analyzed in detail according to criteria such as economic efficiency, sustainability, and feasibility in construction and operation.
The committee highly appreciated the learners’ seriousness, dedication, and efforts in their research topics. Many challenging questions were posed to test the learners' in-depth knowledge of the field, as well as to assess their analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to defend their arguments in a logical and convincing manner.
The committee listened to each topic and offered feedback to help learners improve their work
Besides pointing out limitations, the committee actively suggested new approaches, additional specialized references, suitable research models, and broader survey scopes to enhance the depth and comprehensiveness of the studies. This reflects the committee’s role not only in evaluation but also in guiding and inspiring learners, contributing meaningfully to the quality of postgraduate education at HUTECH.
Congratulations to the learners on reaching an important milestone in their academic journey
Congratulations to all learners on successfully completing this stage of their research journey. With their strong knowledge base and accumulated professional skills, they are well-positioned to go further and achieve greater success in the future.
