In the morning of January 7th, 2019, HUTECH Vietnam - Japan Institute held a seminar to train the “Project Design” subject for lecturers teaching at Faculties and Institutes of the University. The aim of the seminar was to help improve teaching methods and skills to encourage students with positive thinking of learning experience.
The seminar takes place in three days on 7th, 8th and 9th of January, 2019; it is been divided into two groups of majors led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Deputy Director of the Training Center Project Design and Dr. Doan Thi Bang.

At the training session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh and Dr. Doan Thi Bang shared seven main contents, including detecting problems from the class; examining the rationale and nature of problems; conducting a survey about teaching and learning; problem solving of the stakeholders in teaching activities.

Through the lessons and group activities, the lecturers are expected to be able to reasonably apply social problems which are being concerned into their lectures. This combination would help students think outside of the box and engage the ability to perceive knowledge wisely. Besides, the lecturers also gained more essential skills through practice so as to enhance teaching qualification, team work, presentation skill, and collecting necessary data.
The seminar was also an opportunity to exchange teaching experience among lecturers.
