HUTECH trains its lecturers on new teaching methods using the E-learning system

On October 24, the Center for Distance Learning of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a training course for lecturers engaging in teaching using the E-Learning system. The training was part of the university’s effort in applying modern technology to improve the quality of teaching and learning at HUTECH.

Mr. Vo Pham Thanh Luan (Faculty of Information Technology) guided the participating lecturers from the basic to advanced functions available on the E-Learning system, including creating lectures, uploading study materials, assigning practice problems and homework, conducting exams, performing student evaluation as well as submitting grades online.

E-Learning is a form of learning in which teaching and learning activities, accessing study materials, as well as the main communication between the instructors and the learners are conducted via the Internet. The distance learning method allows the participation of learners from anywhere and at any time that could save time and money while accommodating the work-life balance for learners during their online study.
