HUTECH Faculty of Architecture and Arts students win 5 awards at the National Architecture Student Festival 2020

With five awards including 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 1 Team Prize, and 1 All-rounder Prize, students of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) achieved great success at the 12th National Architecture Students Festival 2020.

The festival was held at Duy Tan University, Danang with a wide range of contests. Thanks to the thorough preparation, creativity and fighting spirit, HUTECH students achieved great success by winning a total of five awards, including:

Over the past several years, HUTECH students of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts have won many top prizes at national competitions. This success has further affirmed the capability and creativity of HUTECH students on the journey to pursue their passion for the arts.

This year's contest was held with the participation of representatives from 20 different universities throughout Vietnam together competing in a variety of contents: Quick Design A (for second and third - year students), Quick Design B (for fourth and fifth - year students), Drawing (sketching using watercolor, technical drawing pen), Sand Sculpture Contest (My Khe beach), Art Photography (Theme: Danang through the lenses of architecture) and Shape Modeling based on Parametric design.

Participating in this year’s Festival, HUTECH students have made a strong impression on other teams by excellently bringing home four individual prizes and one award for overall team performance. The National Festival is also a valuable venue for meeting and exchange of knowledge among students in the field of architecture throughout Vietnam.
