[Video] HUTECH Vietnam-Korea Institute of Technology commencement ceremony officially kicks off the new school year

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Phan Dinh Nguyen thanked the business representatives who attended the commencement ceremony and reviewed some outstanding achievements of VKIT in the past year. At the same time, he reminded the new students: "The new school year begins, the baggage you carry with you is not only your ambition and dream but also the hope of your family and relatives. Therefore, I hope you take care of moral training, train your talents to become good children, good games, worthy of being the future owners of the country in the future."

In the joyful atmosphere welcoming new students to join the common roof of VKIT, Dr. Phan Dinh Nguyen performed the drumming ceremony, officially starting the 2023-2024 school year for the Vietnam-Korea Joint Education Program. Accordingly, Ms. Kim Mi Yeon also sent many expectations to the students: "I send you the Korean letters of ‘Elementary Heart’ (Determination from the beginning). I hope you will always keep the same fire of determination much latẻ from now on, always motivate yourselves, always make good use of the skills and advanced curriculum of the school and always make sure to look forward to the best future".

Along with that, representatives of businesses and lecturers of the Institute also sent many good wishes to the new students with the hope that they will strive to improve themselves and become high-quality human resources for the society.

Especially at the ceremony, Nguyen Ngoc Nhut - a 4th year student of Marketing, known as a talented student in VKIT,  has inspired a lot of motivation and determination to study and conquer dreams to new students from his journey of rising from adversity: "Please appreciate the sacrifices of your parents,  teachers and people around them. Appreciate what you have and make an effort to study well instead of thanks. Be strong, dare to think and dare to do."

Within the ceremony, VKIT has awarded 10 scholarships to students with good achievements in study as well as Union/Association activities and awarded prizes to the winners of the VKIT Sumo Robotics 2023 contest.

At the end of the opening ceremony, a new school year with many expectations was opened. We hope VKIT staff, lecturers, staff and students will always be full of energy and success in the coming school year.
