Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) will proudly host the Vietnam Student Olympiad in Informatics (OLP), Procon, and the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia Ho Chi Minh City 2025. This opportunity reflects HUTECH’s solid growth in IT education, affirming its position within Vietnam’s academic community.

OLP 2025 will bring together nearly 1,000 students from around 100 universities, colleges, and specialized high schools across 63 provinces of Vietnam, along with international participants. The four-day event will be fully hosted at HUTECH’s campuses.

Since its inception in 1992, the Vietnam Student Olympiad in Informatics—an initiative by the Vietnam Informatics Association, Vietnam Student Association, and the Ministry of Education and Training—has encouraged IT learning and identified young talent. This annual competition has grown into a prestigious tradition in IT education across the country.
