The signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and the Hanyoung Scholarship Foundation (Korea) took place on December 17. This collaboration opens valuable opportunities for HUTECH's faculty and students to engage in international research and learning environments.

The ceremony was attended by key representatives from both parties. On behalf of the Hanyoung Scholarship Foundation, attendees included Mr. Hyunsup Park, Chairman of the Hanyoung Scholarship Foundation; Ms. Hyunkyung Elaina Park, Managing Director; and Mr. Lee Dong Sen, CEO of Meta Square. Representing HUTECH were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts; Ms. Tran Thi Hong My, Vice Dean; Dr. Tran Trung Hieu, Assistant to the Dean; Ms. Pham Thi Hong Lien, Head of Fashion Design; and Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management.
 
In his opening remarks, Mr. Hyunsup Park described the partnership as not only a bridge for cultural and scientific development but also as a testament to the enduring friendship between Vietnam and Korea. He highlighted areas of collaboration such as research, teaching, and hosting international academic competitions. Additionally, he stressed the importance of internships and research projects in providing practical value to students.

Additionally, the foundation will sponsor activities in research, teaching, and cultural exchange, particularly encouraging faculty and students to participate in promising academic projects. This includes authoring and publishing specialized materials and textbooks in the fields of Textile, Garment, and Fashion Design. Such initiatives aim to enhance expertise while fostering stronger cooperation between Vietnam and Korea in these sectors, contributing new value to education and research.
