HUTECH Startup Wings 2025 kicks off: Registration now open for aspiring student entrepreneurs

To promote the “Youth Creativity” movement and support innovation and entrepreneurship among students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), the HUTECH Startup Wings 2025 competition is now accepting project/idea submissions until 3:00 PM on April 8.
This year, HUTECH Startup Wings enters its 7th edition, coinciding with the university’s 30th anniversary (April 26, 1995 – April 26, 2025). The event is expected to attract a large number of students, serving as a launchpad for promising young entrepreneurs while fostering a strong culture of innovation and creativity within the HUTECH student community. At the same time, it will be a key academic highlight, contributing to the university’s 30th-anniversary celebrations.

Notably, HUTECH Startup Wings 2025 will receive expert guidance from prestigious organizations such as the Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the Ho Chi Minh City Business Startup Support Center (BSSC), and Viet Unicorn.
Additionally, the competition’s judging panel and mentors will include successful entrepreneurs and startup experts, providing practical insights and strategic guidance to help teams develop their projects professionally. Business Forum Magazine will serve as the official media partner, helping expand the competition’s visibility and impact within the young startup community.
Throughout the competition, contestants will receive in-depth mentorship and evaluations, ensuring they receive the right guidance for their projects. This support will enable teams to refine their initial startup ideas and move closer to actualizing their projects, transforming concepts into viable business models.

HUTECH students currently enrolled in any Faculty/Institute.

Students may apply individually or in teams:
+ Individuals: Up to three projects.
+ Teams: A maximum of five members per team, with the option to collaborate across different Faculties/Institutes.

Online application via HUTECH Entrepreneurship: Contestants/team representatives must visit the website, access the Registration section, and complete the required forms.
- Hard-copy Submission: Contestants or team representatives must print and compile all required documents into a complete application package and submit it to the Office of Student Affairs.
- Saigon Campus: Submit at A-01.01 (Mr. Chau)
- Thu Duc Campus: Submit at E1-01.04 (Mr. Kha)

- Submitted projects/ideas must be original, developed, and executed by the individual/team without plagiarism or intellectual property violations.
- Application documents must be fully completed according to the competition’s official guidelines before the Preliminary Round.

Note: Projects that have won First, Second, or Third place in previous HUTECH Startup Wings editions are not eligible to participate.
