In his opening remarks, Dr. Lê Đức Thắng, Vice Head of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, emphasized that English is not only an academic tool but also a gateway to expanding career opportunities for students. He encouraged students to proactively learn the language early to take full advantage of opportunities such as international exchanges, scholarships, and access to global knowledge resources. “English is the key to international integration and success in all fields, especially in today’s era of globalization,” he highlighted.

The workshop featured Mr. Nguyễn Thành Long, lecturer from Jaxtina Center, and Ms. Phan Thanh Hồng Phúc, Academic Coordinator, who shared valuable insights on effective English learning methods. They introduced practical and easy-to-apply approaches to help students maintain consistent practice, seize every chance to engage in real communication, and stay motivated throughout their language learning journey. The “3C” spirit—Consistency, Curiosity, and Communication—was presented as a guiding principle for students to confidently master the language.

Throughout the workshop, interactive activities such as quizzes, group discussions, and communication exercises were conducted enthusiastically. Realistic questions posed by the speakers stimulated students’ creativity and quick thinking. Beyond vocabulary and grammar acquisition, participants were trained to develop a confident and professional demeanor in communication—an essential quality for success in multicultural work environments.

With content closely aligned with essential knowledge and skills—such as specialized English, communication, and presentation abilities—the workshop opened numerous development pathways for students of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce.

In the fields of finance and banking, accounting and auditing, as well as international business and trade, English proficiency offers a significant advantage. It enables students to comprehend professional materials, communicate effectively with foreign partners, and manage tasks within a globalized work environment, confidently meeting the increasingly stringent demands of the international labor market.
