Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) has been listed in the Top 10 out of 200 higher education institutions accredited for meeting education quality standards by the Ministry of Education and Training (as of August 31).
The Ministry’s assessment is based on four groups of criteria: strategy, system, functional implementation, and performance outcomes. In the second audit (V2), HUTECH scored 4.25, ranking 5th out of 200 institutions.

For the “System” criterion, HUTECH scored 4.46, the highest among non-public universities and among the top nationwide. This reflects the university’s consistent investment in facilities, infrastructure, governance, and quality assurance processes, helping it operate effectively and respond to changes in higher education.
In the “Functional Implementation” criterion, HUTECH scored 4.29, showing solid performance in teaching, research, and community service. In the “Performance Outcomes” criterion, the university scored 4.15, reflecting results in research, graduate quality, and social contributions. For “Strategy,” HUTECH scored 4.08.

Being included in the Top 10 alongside leading public universities such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Science - VNUHCM, and Hanoi University of Pharmacy highlights HUTECH’s steady progress. With a governance system rated highly in the evaluation, HUTECH is expected to continue investing, expand cooperation, and move toward international standards, strengthening its position in Vietnam and the region.
