On October 3, the Institute of International Education of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with a delegation from the University of Auckland (New Zealand, UoA) to expand cooperation in education, offering HUTECH students more pathways for international learning and experiences.
During the meeting, leaders from both institutions discussed expanding the scale and scope of their joint programs. HUTECH proposed adding new, highly applicable disciplines such as Marketing and Automotive Engineering Technology to meet the growing demand for high-quality human resources in the future.

A highlight of the visit was a conversation between UoA representatives and HUTECH students currently enrolled in the joint program. Many students shared that they chose UoA for its academic reputation, modern learning environment, and the opportunity to experience New Zealand’s diverse culture.

They emphasized that studying at UoA offers students comprehensive development, from professional knowledge to soft skills. Upon graduation, students have a wide range of opportunities to pursue Master’s or Doctoral degrees, supported by various scholarship options, and to advance their careers in New Zealand or other developed countries.

They also highlighted the importance of active learning, adaptability to cultural differences, and taking advantage of internship opportunities to gain practical experience, helping students build confidence as they plan their future international learning paths.
