On November 25, the Faculty of Korean Studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea International Exchange Association, marking an important step in the university’s strategy to strengthen educational and cultural cooperation.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Bui Phan Anh Thu, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Studies, and Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang, Director of the Institute of International Education, shared the university’s development direction and its goal to expand the global academic partner network. The collaboration with the Korea International Exchange Association is expected to serve as a key foundation for bilateral academic exchanges, business connections, and the development of a Vietnamese-Korean workforce that meets current integration requirements.

In addition, the association representatives highlighted their impression of HUTECH students’ energy and the university’s international education model. They stated that the association will continue to act as a bridge with various organizations in Korea to expand opportunities for business internships, cultural exchanges, and student mobility. The association also plans to collaborate with HUTECH to organize Vietnam-Korea academic workshops in the near future.
