Higher education is entering a period of deeper international integration. Building relationships with global partners has become key to improving training quality and connecting students with an international environment.
This was the focus of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and the Daejeon Industry-Academia Consortium, South Korea, on November 27. The event was part of the 2025 Daejeon – Ho Chi Minh Global Capstone Design Competition.

From the partner side, Mr. Kwon Heung Soon, Director of the Daejeon RISE Center, expressed his appreciation for the signing and stated: “HUTECH’s Vietnam-Korea Institute of Technology is a key unit for technology exchange between our countries, where Vietnam’s top talents are trained in Korean industrial technology. The agreement signed today between the Daejeon Regional Universities Alliance for University-Industry Collaboration (RUIC) and HUTECH is highly significant because it establishes a connection between Daejeon’s industry and Vietnam’s technology talents. It is also an important piece in completing the global University-Industry collaboration ecosystem that our Daejeon RISE Center is pursuing.”
