Both institutions expect LEX 2026 to continue delivering practical value to students and the community
Representing Singapore Polytechnic, Dr. Handojo Djati Utomo commended the strong spirit of collaboration, professional expertise, and thorough preparation demonstrated by the HUTECH faculty. He affirmed that LEX continues to demonstrate growing academic depth, practical relevance, and positive community impact.
The key focus of the session was an overview presentation of three proposed project sites for LEX 2026, located at Minh Phuoc Incense Workshop in Binh Chanh District, Phu Hoa Dong rice paper village in Cu Chi District, and Gia Dinh Park Circus in Go Vap District. Representatives from each team introduced the characteristics of each site, existing issues and challenges, proposed solutions, and potential social impact. They also clarified local infrastructure conditions and surrounding facilities to ensure effective preparation for the site visits and the official program implementation.
LEX 2026 will involve lecturers and students from multiple faculties and institutes
A notable highlight of LEX 2026 is the participation of HUTECH lecturers and students from various faculties and institutes, enhancing the interdisciplinary nature of the program. This multidisciplinary collaboration allows projects at each site to be approached from diverse academic and practical perspectives. Such an approach not only deepens the professional quality of each project but also creates an environment for students to develop multidimensional thinking, teamwork skills, and real-world problem-solving abilities.
Following the working session, the teams conducted on site surveys at the project locations as planned. LEX 2026 is scheduled to officially take place from March 23 to April 3, 2026, and is expected to remain a key highlight of HUTECH international cooperation activities, contributing to the promotion of experiential education, community engaged learning, and sustainable development.
