Recently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting and signed a cooperation agreement under the Erasmus+ framework with WSB Merito University in Wrocław (Poland), expanding opportunities for academic exchange and international collaboration for the University’s faculty members and students.

The meeting took place at Sai Gon Campus with the participation of Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of the University, and Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management. Representatives from the partner institution included Dr. Helena Stecka, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, and Ms. Julia Grochulska, Erasmus+ Mobility Advisor.
At the meeting, Dr. Helena Stecka presented an overview of the WSB Merito Universities system, the largest private university group in Poland, with campuses located in 11 cities across the country. The two sides also discussed potential areas of cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework, including the implementation of international projects, the promotion of joint research between the two institutions, and the organization of online courses for HUTECH faculty members and students.

A key highlight of the meeting was the signing of the Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement for the 2025–2027 period, which will enable faculty members and students from both universities to participate in teaching, study, and research exchange activities in the coming years. The agreement marks a new step in the partnership between HUTECH and Polish higher education institutions, creating more opportunities for faculty members and students to engage in academic experiences within an international environment.

Previously, within the framework of the Erasmus+, HUTECH had also implemented several faculty exchange activities with universities in Poland. A notable example is the Erasmus+ Mobility Program KA171, a three-month program held from March 12 to May 29, 2025 at WSB Merito University in Gdańsk, with the participation of faculty members from the Faculty of Business Administration.
