On February 23, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Kagawa University (Japan) exchanged several cultural activities, appealing to a large number of both universities’ students.

For Kagawa University’s students to have a deeper insight into Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and people, HUTECH students gave a presentation about Vietnamese traditional foods.

Furthermore, students of both universities made “Goi cuon” and “Che troi nuoc” under the chef’s guidance, which was a great chance for them to show off their cooking and interaction skills.

The program resulted in providing students with a better grasp of each country’s culture and served as a huge motivation to continue to study and pursue their chosen majors.

Representatives of HUTECH included Dr. Nguyen Toan - Member of the University Founding Board; Dr. Huynh Ngoc Anh - Vice President; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Director of Institute of CIRTECH Technology; Ms. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice Director of Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology; Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang - Vice Director of Institute of International Education; Ms. Tang Thong Nhan - Vice Dean of Faculty of Tourism Management - Restaurant - Hotel and those of Kagawa University include Ms. Kumu Eto, Ms. Miwa Takashima, and over 20 Japanese students.
