The program “Hej Vietnam – Let’s Summer Together” opens a journey of academic exchange and multicultural experiences, creating opportunities for students of HUTECH’s Institute of International Education and young people from Denmark, Germany, Canada, and more to learn, connect, and discover unique cultural values in an international environment.
Held on July 28, the welcome ceremony themed “Hej Vietnam – Let’s Summer Together” officially launched the Vietnam Summer Program 2026. Organized by HUTECH’s Institute of International Education, the program brings together students from four major institutions worldwide: Dania Academy (Denmark), Humber Polytechnic (Canada), Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and SEA.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang, Director of the Institute of International Education, extended a warm welcome to the international student delegation and hoped that the Vietnam Summer Program 2026 would become a journey of knowledge and cultural connection. He emphasized that the program would help students broaden their perspectives, gain deeper understanding of Vietnam, and build lasting international friendships through learning, experiences, and exchanges.

On behalf of the partner institutions, Mr. Niels Dengsoe, lecturer at Dania Academy, expressed appreciation for the strong cooperation between the universities and praised the multicultural learning environment provided by HUTECH. With the message “Never stop learning, always keep an open mind to observe, experience, and connect, because the more you share, the more value you receive,” he encouraged students to make the most of the exchange opportunities to better understand Vietnamese culture.

Guided by Ms. Nguyen Thanh Bao Loan, lecturer at the Institute of International Education, the international students enthusiastically joined interactive activities centered on Vietnamese language, geography, culture, and cuisine. Through Q&A sessions, games, and challenges, they learned basic knowledge about Vietnam and confidently practiced their first Vietnamese phrases.

The program’s atmosphere became even more vibrant with group dance activities, where international students and HUTECH students joined together in cheerful rhythms. Smiles, handshakes, and coordinated movements quickly broke down barriers, creating natural connections and an open spirit before the program’s upcoming activities.
“Experiencing Vietnamese culture is something I am truly excited about. Even though I have only learned a few Vietnamese phrases, I can already feel the hospitality, friendliness, and positive energy from the students. The exchange activities, dancing, singing, and the learning environment at HUTECH have left me with wonderful impressions. I believe this will be a memorable experience in my journey,” shared Jesefine, a student from Dania Academy.
