On September 23, the Faculty of Korean Studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a closing ceremony for the study tour and internship program of Korea Cyber University.
During their time at HUTECH, Korea Cyber students participated in and audited six courses: Introduction to Korean Language, Korean Listening and Speaking 3, Korean Reading and Writing 5, Integrated Korean 1, Korean Interpretation 1, and Korean Reading and Listening 1.
The delegation also organized a Korean cultural experience for HUTECH students. Activities included learning about tiger mascots, decorative patterns, and traditional clothing, as well as making handicrafts such as mother-of-pearl inlaid mirrors, Gat hats, and folding screens.

At the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice President of HUTECH, welcomed the delegation and expressed his hope for continued cooperation and expanded educational and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Korea.

Ms. Lee Sunyoung, Dean of the Department of Korean Language and Multicultural Studies at Korea Cyber University, noted the enthusiasm of HUTECH students in studying Korean language and culture. She expressed her hope that the 15 students in the program will become strong Korean language teachers in the future.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Ms. Lee Jin said she valued the decision to participate in the exchange and was impressed by the commitment of Vietnamese students to learning Korean. She highlighted the students’ creativity and engagement during cultural activities as a sign of their strong interest in the language.
