15 scholarships with a total value of 230 million VND will be awarded by Pharmacity to students of HUTECH Faculty of Pharmacy

On July 15, the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Center for Corporate Relations of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) met with the representatives of Pharmacity Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to discuss the opportunity for cooperation in training and providing scholarship for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
 
Attending the meeting was Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh Chau - Director of Human Resources of Pharmacity along with several leaders of the company. On the side of HUTECH, Mr. Ho Duc Sinh - Director of Center for Corporate Relations and Dr. Pham Ngoc Tuan Anh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy joined the discussion with the partner.

Representatives of Pharmacity and HUTECH in the online meeting to promote future cooperation projects in training
 
In the meeting, the two parties agreed to promote cooperation to develop a high-quality workforce and skilled graduates in the Pharmaceutical field. To contribute to the training effort of the next generations of qualified pharmacists for the healthcare industry, Pharmacity offered to award 15 scholarships with a total value of nearly 230 million VND to students of HUTECH Faculty of Pharmacy.

In addition, HUTECH and Pharmacity also discussed long-term cooperation, such as providing opportunities for students to be interviewed in periodic recruiting sessions; accepting students and providing students during their internships at drug stores within Pharmacity’s system; etc.

Many programs to support HUTECH students in gaining access to practical learning and internship opportunities are also discussed in the meeting
 
Pharmacity plans to award scholarships to students when the pandemic situation improves. Scholarship information will be updated to students as soon as possible.
