HUTECH to host OLP, OlpAI, Procon, and ICPC 2025 from December 8 to 12

From December 8 to 12, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) is honored to host the Vietnam Student Informatics Olympiad (OLP), the Vietnam Student Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (OlpAI), Procon Vietnam, and the International Collegiate Programming Contest ICPC Asia Ho Chi Minh City.
 
This prestigious series of events is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Association for Information Processing, the ICPC Vietnam Organizing Committee and Advisory Council. The events are held under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam National Union of Students, and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

 
HUTECH to host OLP, OlpAI, Procon, and ICPC 2025 from December 8 to 12 13
The HUTECH Manpower Training Center will serve as the venue for OLP, OlpAI, Procon, and ICPC 2025
 
This year’s competitions include eight individual and team categories:
  • OLP'25 includes Category A for the OLP Super Cup individual competition, Category B for Informatics major students, Category C for non Informatics majors, and Category H for the open source software team event.
  • OlpAI'25 includes the team-based artificial intelligence programming competition.
  • Procon'25 includes the team-based competitive programming category that follows the Japanese model.
  • ICPC Asia HCMC 2025 includes Category E for ICPC teams from Vietnam and Asia and Category F for teams from non-specialized groups.
The event will bring together nearly one thousand outstanding information technology students and nearly two hundred coaches from universities, academies, and colleges across the country. In addition, sixty students from eight leading universities in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand will also participate. Their presence adds an international atmosphere and promotes healthy academic competition.

The event is expected to gather nearly 1,000 top information technology students from Vietnam and around the world
 
With national and international scale, OLP, OlpAI, Procon, and ICPC 2025 represent a respected academic arena that promotes learning, research, and innovation in information technology among students nationwide. Over more than thirty years of continuous organization, these competitions have become a launchpad for thousands of young technology talents who now hold important roles in major technology corporations and who contribute directly to the nation’s digital transformation efforts.
 
Alongside its academic environment, OLP, OlpAI, Procon, and ICPC 2025 receive support from major enterprises such as Viettel, Pendle, WorldQuant, and FPT. These companies provide financial sponsorship and awards and also create opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and recruitment. Their participation helps build a comprehensive academic and technological ecosystem where young talents can challenge themselves, learn, and expand their career prospects.
