From this practical context, the Vietnam-Korea Institute of Technology (VKIT) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), in collaboration with Korean partners, organized Talent Insight Day in Vietnam 2026. The event created a forum for in-depth discussion on talent strategies, employer branding, and leadership thinking in the era of artificial intelligence.
From this practical context, the Vietnam-Korea Institute of Technology (VKIT) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), in collaboration with Korean partners, organized Talent Insight Day in Vietnam 2026. The event created a forum for in-depth discussion on talent strategies, employer branding, and leadership thinking in the era of artificial intelligence.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Dinh Nguyen, Vice President of HUTECH and Director of VKIT, emphasized the role of industry collaboration in practice-oriented education. He noted that Talent Insight Day in Vietnam 2026 is a concrete activity reflecting the University’s education internationalization orientation and contributes to equipping students with a solid career foundation that meets the increasingly high expectations of employers.

A key highlight of the program was the signing ceremony of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding between HUTECH and HWAVE Korea, a leading company in marketing and employer branding in the Republic of Korea. The agreement opens up opportunities for cooperation in training, internships, and employment in an international standard working environment, enabling students to gain early exposure to real-world business requirements.

HWAVE and its partners also awarded scholarships to VKIT students, recognizing their capabilities and potential in the presence of international recruiters

In addition, the program featured a series of in-depth presentations addressing issues of concern to businesses amid digital transformation and intensifying competition for talent. The presentations focused on recruitment strategies, employer branding, and leadership capability development in the AI era.
In the keynote session, Mr. Bok Sung-hyun, Chief Executive Officer of HWAVE Korea, analyzed the critical role of employer branding in strengthening business competitiveness in the Vietnamese market. According to him, employer branding should be built on core values, organizational culture, and employees’ real experiences in order to establish trust and long-term appeal for high quality talent.

Following this, Mr. Thang Huynh, Chief Executive Officer of Talent Brand Vietnam, provided an overview of emerging recruitment trends in Vietnam and highlighted shifts in career expectations, particularly among younger generations. These changes require businesses to adjust their talent attraction and retention strategies toward greater transparency, flexibility, and sustainability.

From a leadership perspective, Dr. Moon Sung-hoo shared in-depth insights into the K-Leadership model and the concept of “Attitude OS,” described as the mindset operating system of leaders in the AI era. The discussion emphasized the foundational role of leadership attitude in shaping behavior, organizational culture, and operational effectiveness, especially in technology-driven work environments.

Concluding the series of presentations, Mr. Kim Tae-wan, Human Resources Director, focused on employer branding strategies of Korean enterprises in Vietnam, with an emphasis on localizing human resource policies, cultural adaptation, and building appropriate development pathways to foster long-term engagement with the local workforce.
