Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung continues to be among 1% most influential scientists in the world

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung is ranked 1% in the list of the most influential scientists in the world in 2018 published by Clarivate Anlysis organization (the former was Thompson Reuters organization). This is the 5th time he is in this list.

Currently, he is the Director of CIRTECH, Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Technology of Ho Chi Minh City University (HUTECH), professor at Sejong university (Korea), Chairman of the Vietnam Mechanical Association and Computational Mechanical Association, Chairman of the Board of ENSCO LTD digital engineering and simulation company, and Deputy Editor of the scientific newspaper "Asia Pacific Journal of Computational Engineering, APJCEN”.

He had over 150 research articles published on magazines in the field of ISI, focusing on computational tools, simulation on computer, mechanical engineering, biomechanics, and R&D new materials. Moreover, he was also named 4th times in the list of highly cited researchers by Thomson Reuters and Clarivate Analytics organizations from 2014 to 2017.

Professor Klaus Hackl, Director of Institute of mechanics RUB and Professor Timon Rabzcuk, Director of the Institute of mechanics calculation at Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany, where Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung had time to do R&D, following Georg Forster Research 2015 awards of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, gave a nice comment that "He has outstanding contribution in the transmission of specialized knowledge from abroad to Vietnam and vice versa."
