HUTECH WORKS WITH CHUNG YUAN CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY (CYCU) TAIWAN, ADDING MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AND POSTGRADUATES

The meeting took place at the Saigon Campus, with representatives from CYCU in attendance, including Prof. Sheng Jie You, Director of the Environmental Risk Management Research Center in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, and Mr. Jheng Jie Jiang, Director of the Center for Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety and Health, and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering.On March 1st, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting to collaborate with Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) in Taiwan, providing research opportunities for students, trainees.
During the meeting, representatives from HUTECH and CYCU introduced their respective training systems, facilities, activities, and learning programs for students, trainees, and Ph.D. students. Based on their commonalities in training and development orientation, the two sides discussed plans for future cooperation.

The universities will cooperate in training to identify talents in Science, Medicine, and Biology, with a focus on guiding graduate and doctoral students. In terms of research, the universities will jointly utilize laboratories and publish articles on research topics of mutual interest. With regards to exchange programs, HUTECH students, graduate students, and doctoral students can study and conduct research at CYCU.
The two sides will collaborate in identifying scientific talents and co-guiding graduate and doctoral students.The meeting took place at the Saigon Campus, with representatives from CYCU in attendance, including Prof. Sheng Jie You, Director of the Environmental Risk Management Research Center in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, and Mr. Jheng Jie Jiang, Director of the Center for Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety and Health, and Assistant Prof. in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering.

Representatives from HUTECH present at the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet, Head of the Science and Technology Department; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan, Deputy Head of the Science and Technology Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Phu, Director of the FUTECH Institute of Environment and lecturer at the Institute of Applied Science; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam, Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Science.
