In the morning of October 19th, 2013, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) cheerfully held the Inauguration Ceremony 2013 in joy and happiness of students, faculty and staff.
A new advancement of high quality university
A number of HUTECH events simultaneously transpired in the Inauguration Ceremony 2013-2014 are Official HUTECH Logo Change, Institute of International Education Campus Inauguration and Third-class Labor Order for HUTECH Chairman Induction. The commemorations indicated the significant transformation of HUTECH after 20 years of development.

HUTECH orientates to be a practical multidiscipline and multigrade university, providing country with high quality labor resources for the industrialization and modernization. Thus, the new campus of Institute of International Education located at 276-282 Dien Bien Phu St Ward 17 Binh Thanh District is a demonstration of school unstoppable facility investment. The building has an area of 10.000 m2, 16 floors and 2 basements. All the international collaboration with prestige institutions in the world, post-graduate training programs as well as technology transfers are implemented at this modern buiding.

Together with the significant contribution of falculty and staff, Dr. Kieu Tuan has work tirelessly to bring HUTECH into being one of the best national universities. To award the Chairman noteworthy influences, the Vietnamese President has given him the Third-Class Labor Order for excellent achievements in more than 40 years of contribution.

HUTECH – The school of revolution
HUTECH was found in 1995 when Vietnam initiated the first steps of world integration. After 18 years forming and developing, the university has been affirmed for its prestige and high quality of training in Vietnam.

HUTECH has maintained 4 campuses with the area up to 100,000 m2 equiped with the modernest facility and over 60 hi-tech laboratories. The library has an area of 1,500 m2 and more than 50.000 book titles, 200 newspapers, magazines as well as e-library system.
