HUTECH welcomed O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU)

On March 07, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a second meeting with O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) to discuss their educational systems, thus creating many opportunities for cooperation and useful study programs for students of both universities.

The discussion took place at Saigon Campus
 
Representatives of JGU included Prof. Padmanabha Ramanujam - Vice President, Head of International Office at JGU, Professor of Law at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS); and Prof. Dr. Rahul Bhandari - Director of Study Abroad Program at JGU. Representing HUTECH were Dr. Ly Thien Trang - Vice President and Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Vice Director of the Institute of International Education.

Accordingly, both universities discussed their educational systems, aiming to organize more exchange, collaboration, and study abroad programs for students. JGU, established in 2009, is ranked as follows: the leading private university in India for the past 3 years; the number 1 university in India for 4 consecutive years and the only Law school in India. JGU is also among the top 100 Law schools globally.

In particular, Prof. Padmanabha Ramanujam, a member of their delegation, has actively contributed to JGU’s endeavors for development as well as establishment of the legal framework. More importantly, with his outstanding achievements in research and excellent specialized learning, he has been awarded many certificates and scholarships from world-renowned universities.
