The Faculty of Nursing and Medical Laboratory signed MoU with Trinity University of Asia (TUA) (Philippines)

The Faculty of Nursing and Medical Laboratory of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology had recently signed the memorandum of cooperation (MoU) with Trinity University of Asia (TUA). It is known that HUTECH is the first university in Vietnam selected by the TUA to sign the MoU.

Representatives of TUA at the meeting included Dr. Howell T.Ho – Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. John Michael O. Lorena – President of St. Luke’s College of Nursing; Dr. Tristan Jourdan C. Dela Crus – Head of the Graduate Program; Mr. Alenjandro Vinalay – Head of Admission Department; Prof. Gracia De Guzman-Sarao – President of the College of Arts, Sciences and Education; Prof. Maryluz Divina Gaco – Lecturer of the College of Arts, Sciences and Education; Mr. Michael Estrada – Secretary of the Graduate Program of Nursing.

Representatives of HUTECH included Assoc. Prof. Bui Xuan Luan – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Prof. Nurse. Pharmacist. Nguyen Phuong Tung – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Laboratory, Ms. Ho Thi Bao Chau – Head of Medical Laboratory Techniques, Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang – Vice Senior Director of the Institute of International Education.

The representatives of HUTECH
At the meeting, the two units signed an MOU and discussed cooperation plans to organize medical seminars and promote joint training programs for undergraduates of both. Supporting research activities, carrying out evaluations on the curriculum of HUTECH and TUA, arranging student and lecturer exchange programs, etc. were also mentioned during the session.

The signing between HUTECH and TUA offers various opportunities to study and research for lecturers and undergraduates, strengthening the two sides' educational missions. Furthermore, Plans for collaborative scientific research will help Vietnam and the Philippines develop medical production technologies.
