He affirmed: “In this age of technological explosion, educators not only need analytical and problem-solving skills, but also creativity in every lecture to help learners fully develop their capabilities and work independently in an environment increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. To achieve this, there is no other way but through scientific research. Therefore, I believe this conference is taking place at a very timely moment, aligning with the country’s development needs and trends, especially as it is you, the educators, who play a crucial role in shaping and developing human capital.”

At the plenary session chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Dinh Nguyen, Vice President of HUTECH, in-depth reports were presented, showcasing research depth, interdisciplinarity, and practical policy suggestions. Opening the session, Dr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society, Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, presented the report “Community-based Climate Change Adaptation (A Case Study in Can Gio District, HCMC).” The report analyzed the roles and participation levels of three key stakeholders: local residents, local authorities, and social organizations. In the context of Can Gio, the only coastal area in Ho Chi Minh City heavily affected by climate change, the study pointed out the lack of coordination among stakeholders as a major barrier to sustainable adaptation strategies. The author proposed a community-based risk management model, emphasizing flexible, organized, and long-term collaboration among parties as a viable approach for other peri-urban areas.
