Representing the GMU delegation were Dr. Janette Miur, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at George Mason University, along with other members of the delegation

During the meeting, representatives of both universities discussed the possibility of implementing international pathway programs, particularly under the 3+1 model, which would allow students to study for three years at HUTECH and one year at GMU to complete their degree program. This model is expected to provide students with valuable opportunities to access an international learning environment, enhance their professional competencies, and improve their competitiveness in the global job market.

At the same time, student exchange programs were also an important topic of discussion between the two institutions. Through semester-based or short-term exchange programs, students from both universities will have the opportunity to experience different academic environments, cultures, and teaching approaches, thereby broadening their perspectives and strengthening their international integration. With the advantage of an ecosystem of more than 5,000 partner enterprises, HUTECH also offers numerous internship and practical learning opportunities for international students participating in study or exchange programs at the university.
