HUTECH TECHSHOW 2025: Nearly 3,000 open job opportunities, 370 graduation projects on display

Nearly 70 reputable enterprises brought close to 3,000 job opportunities along with 370 graduation projects being showcased, creating the remarkable highlights of HUTECH TECHSHOW 2025 - the Technology Exhibition and Recruitment Fair for the Engineering - Technology sector, held on August 9 at Thu Duc Campus.
The event was organized by the Center for Corporate Relations in cooperation with the Institute of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture - Fine Arts, and Faculty of Civil Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), with the companionship of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Mechanical - Electrical Enterprise Association.
The event was organized by the Center for Corporate Relations in cooperation with the Institute of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture - Fine Arts, and Faculty of Civil Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), with the companionship of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Mechanical - Electrical Enterprise Association.

In his opening remarks at the fair, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Vice President of the University, expressed his gratitude for the companionship and participation of guests and enterprises. He emphasized: “The fair gathers nearly 3,000 recruitment needs from enterprises, which reflects the forecast of the Human Resource Forecasting Center on the strong demand for labor in the engineering - technology field today. HUTECH is proud to introduce to our valued enterprises about 1,000 engineers in the fields of mechanical engineering, electronics, automation, civil engineering, architecture, and fashion, promising young talents, together with their first graduation projects invested with seriousness, ready to meet the high-quality human resource demands of the market.”

The recruitment atmosphere at the fair heated up as nearly 70 enterprises in engineering, technology, construction, architecture, design, and other fields simultaneously sought talents. Notable names included Hoa Binh Construction Group, Bcons Construction Investment JSC, An Cuong Wood, Phu My Automobile JSC, Hybrid Technologies Vietnam, Esuhai Technology, ATG Internet Technology & Culture (Bossvn), IDEA Technology Corporation JSC, Nha Vui Architecture Construction JSC, and more.
Nearly 3,000 recruitment positions ranged from automotive technicians, painting technicians, electrical engineers, mechanical assembly engineers, CNC machine operators, mechatronics engineers, automation engineers, architects, QA/QC engineers, civil engineers, structural design engineers, to construction supervision interns, etc. Students could directly submit CVs, participate in interviews right at the booths, and interact with enterprise representatives to better understand job requirements, work environments, and growth opportunities in each field.

Prior to the event, students were equipped with skills in CV preparation, interview techniques, and how to impress employers through workshops conducted by experts from Phu My Automobile and Savills Vietnam.
Ly Minh Sang, a fourth-year Automotive Engineering Technology student, shared: “Joining the fair, I prepared my CV carefully as well as related professional certificates to apply for the research and development technician position at Phu My Ford.”
“For me, HUTECH TECHSHOW 2025 is a great opportunity for myself and other students to connect with many enterprises. Especially, presenting our projects before experts allows us to receive valuable feedback to perfect our projects, as well as opens up opportunities to collaborate with enterprises in the future,” shared Le Huynh Phu Van, a fourth-year Construction Management student.

Alongside recruitment activities, the fair also showcased 370 graduation projects from students of Automotive Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Digital Art, Civil Engineering, and Construction Management.
Outstanding projects included a two-door convertible electric car model with four seats, a five-seat electric car with Level 2 autonomous driving system, a delta robot for goods packaging, an automatic surface roughness measuring machine, a mobile robotic arm, a shrimp pond monitoring system using IoT, a smart home, a self-driving car applying computer vision and artificial intelligence, a luxury hotel project in Binh Duong, the general design for Bcons Riverside, the interior design of Vo Uu Vegetarian Restaurant, architectural projects such as Garden - Villa Design, and fashion collections like “Tứ Vân,” “Ngói Cháy,” “In Me,” etc. These projects demonstrated strong professional knowledge and students’ keen awareness of technological trends and market demands.
Enterprises not only visited the displays but also directly provided feedback, advised on product improvements, and explored commercialization or research collaboration opportunities. Mr. Le Hoang Nam, Design Director of Nha Vui Architecture Construction JSC, commented: “The projects at the fair truly made a strong impression with clear approaches aligned with real-world demands. Many products meet market requirements well, ensuring professional quality while fitting enterprise recruitment criteria. From the perspective of an architectural design consulting company, I can see that students already have a solid foundation to begin participating in real construction design projects.”

Ms. Pham Thi Truc Phuong, Head of Human Resource Management Department at Hoa Binh Construction Group, also remarked: “I took a tour and could see the dynamism of the students. The fair space was also vibrant with many booths and projects. Right in front of me were student-made vehicles that were very appealing. I highly appreciate the HUTECH Organizing Committee as well as the capabilities and skills of the students.”
Within the framework of the event, HUTECH signed cooperation agreements on “Training human resources linked with enterprise needs” with three companies, including Phu My Automobile, Nam Trung Technical Trading Investment JSC, and CTW Technology JSC. This continues to bring many study and work opportunities for students, following the practice-oriented training strategy that the University has pioneered and actively promoted in recent times.

Attending the fair were representatives of various departments/agencies/associations along with sponsoring and recruiting enterprises. From HUTECH, there was Dr. Kieu Tuan - Party Committee Secretary, Permanent Member of the University Board of Directors - along with the Board of Presidents, and leaders of faculties/institutes/offices/centers within the university.
