On September 15, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting with representatives from Singapore Polytechnic (SP) to discuss internship opportunities and explore new areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized creating opportunities for SP students to intern in Vietnam. With a network of more than 3,000 partner enterprises, HUTECH affirmed its ability to provide international students with diverse practical experiences, not only in engineering but also in business, management, communications, and the creative industries. These opportunities are expected to help students gain early exposure to real-world workplaces, develop global skills, and adapt quickly to multicultural labor markets.
HUTECH representatives at the meeting
The SP delegation included Ms. Tan Yen Yen - Senior Director, Business & The Creatives, Ms. Esther Low - Assistant Director, Business & The Creatives, along with faculty members
In addition, the discussions opened new opportunities for cooperation in arts and media, areas of strength for both HUTECH and SP. From short film projects and music exchanges to community design initiatives, students from both institutions will have opportunities to collaborate creatively, engage in cross-cultural exchange, and gain professional experience in an international environment.
Discussions opened new directions for cooperation in arts and media
It is worth noting that HUTECH and SP have already built a strong foundation of cooperation through the annual Learning Express (LeX) program, which provides students with hands-on, community-based experiences in Vietnam. Building on the success of LeX, SP expressed its interest in expanding cooperation into more creative fields, creating new opportunities for students from both institutions.
The meeting focused on practical projects contributing to shared development
The meeting was held in an open spirit, aiming toward practical projects that will benefit students and contribute to the broader process of higher education integration in the region.
