Studying, interning, and working in an international environment provide young people with opportunities to enhance professional expertise, develop standardized work ethics, and expand sustainable career pathways.
An international environment creates opportunities for young people to develop professional competencies
To gradually turn these opportunities into reality for students, on December 17, the Vietnam–Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with NOAH Veterinary Clinic in Tokyo (Japan). The meeting focused on discussing directions for professional cooperation and the implementation of a veterinary internship program in Japan, aiming to closely connect education, practical training, and post-graduation employment opportunities in the international labor market.

Representing the Japanese side, Dr. Fumiaki Hayashi, Director of the NOAH Veterinary Clinic network in Tokyo, introduced the operational model of the network and its affiliated facilities in Vietnam. He emphasized the pivotal role of clinical practice training, strict technical procedures, and professional ethical standards in the development of modern veterinary medicine, while expressing a strong interest in further strengthening training cooperation with HUTECH in the coming time.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed on key cooperation directions, with a focus on co-organizing scientific seminars and specialized professional training courses delivered online, featuring instruction from Japanese veterinary experts. This is seen as an effective channel for updating advanced knowledge, technologies, and clinical procedures, enabling HUTECH students and faculty to directly access international professional standards.

In addition, internship programs and the recruitment of veterinarians to work in Japan were also key topics of discussion. Under the cooperation framework, HUTECH students will have opportunities to intern at veterinary clinics within the NOAH network, directly engage in a professional working environment, enhance their technical competencies, and accumulate practical experience.
