The year 2025 continued to record strong growth in international cooperation activities at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), as the internationalization process was accelerated in both scale and depth, becoming one of the most prominent highlights in the University’s development strategy.

Comprehensive Internationalization: A Strategic Step in Education and Global Integration
Accordingly, the University’s international activities were implemented in a coordinated manner across multiple areas, including working with foreign partners, signing cooperation agreements, organizing academic and cultural exchanges, and conducting faculty and student exchanges through various flexible formats. Rather than pursuing expansion in breadth alone, HUTECH focused on building a network of strategic partners and linking cooperation activities with practical education goals, directly serving students, lecturers, and the academic community.

In 2025, HUTECH organized 123 working sessions and hosted international partner delegations, while also signing 93 cooperation agreements with foreign universities, educational organizations, and enterprises. These figures reflect the high intensity of international cooperation activities and the increasing level of trust that international partners place in the University.
Working sessions and cooperation agreements focused on various specific areas such as developing joint education programs, co-organizing international conferences and seminars, scientific research collaboration, academic exchange, and the development of short-term study programs for students. Notably, many working sessions went deeper into establishing long term cooperation roadmaps to ensure that agreements are implemented effectively and deliver practical value.

These programs enable young people to engage directly with a multinational academic environment, strengthen foreign language proficiency, develop intercultural communication skills, and form a global citizen mindset right at the University.
At the same time, students actively participated in study, exchange, and mobility programs abroad with partners in Malaysia, China, South Korea, France, Japan, Thailand, and other countries. Beyond in person formats, many online study and exchange programs with international partners were also implemented, allowing young people to expand their global academic experience in a flexible manner that aligns with modern education trends.
