Thousands of students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) actively participated in direct interviews, connected with employers, and explored job opportunities at the HUTECH Job Fair 2026.
The event officially opened on the morning of May 7 at the HUTECH Training Center (Thu Duc Campus). Featuring nearly 7,000 job opportunities from 179 companies across 191 booths, the event created a vibrant career networking space for students in a wide range of fields, including Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Engineering and Technology, Business and Management, Communication, Design and Arts, Law, Languages and Social Sciences, and Health Sciences.

From early in the morning, many students arrived with carefully prepared CVs, confidently learning about companies, engaging with recruiters, and participating in on site interviews at recruitment booths. Rather than attending simply to observe or gather information, many students viewed the event as a valuable opportunity to experience the realities of the labor market, challenge themselves in a professional recruitment environment, better understand their own capabilities, and gain clearer insights into employers’ practical expectations.
Nguyen Tien Quang, a fourth-year student from the Faculty of Business Administration, shared: “During interviews with Nam A Bank and Sacombank, I received quite positive feedback from the recruitment specialists. This gave me greater confidence and stronger expectations for career opportunities in the finance and banking sector after graduation.”
Career opportunities ranged from internship positions to full time employment at many major companies, including KIS Vietnam Securities Corporation; Newtour Travel and Event Services Co. Nearly 7,000 attractive job opportunities were offered by companies across multiple fields, including Accounting Intern; Investment Consulting Specialist; Data Control Specialist; Customer Consultant; Business Administration Staff; Admissions Consultant; Marketing Content Executive; Enterprise Solutions Consultant; Logistics Sales Executive; HR Admin; Import Export Documentation Officer; General Accountant; Creative Planner; Supervising Engineer; Site Engineer; IT Specialist; Ground Services Supervisor; Flight Attendant; Aircraft Technician; and many more.
The participation of numerous reputable companies along with a diverse recruitment system not only reflected the wide-ranging workforce demands of today’s labor market but also opened up various internship and employment opportunities suited to students’ professional knowledge, career skills, and future development goals.
Nguyen Dang Long, representative of L’DRAGO LAND Co., Ltd., remarked: “I noticed that the students were very well prepared, from their application documents to their professional demeanor and interview skills. This demonstrated their proactiveness and serious attitude toward their career opportunities. Through this event, our company was also able to identify and shortlist many potential candidates who match our recruitment needs.”
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice President of the University, stated: “HUTECH Job Fair 2026 serves as an important bridge between the University and businesses, helping expand employment opportunities for students. At the same time, the event enables companies to better understand recruitment demands, discover students’ capabilities, and collaborate in developing a high-quality young workforce for society.”

As part of the event, the University signed cooperation agreements with eight corporate partners, including Sun Phu Quoc Airways, L’DRAGO Land, VPBank, Softdream Technology Investment and Trading, VACOM., JSC, DSL Energy JSC, Phu Hoang Land, and Phat Nhan Tam Manpower Supply. The University also honored nearly 150 partner companies for their active contributions to training activities, recruitment, and career connection initiatives for students.

On this occasion, Taya Canvas Vietnam awarded nine scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances who have continuously strived to excel in their studies. These meaningful scholarships provided both financial support and encouragement, motivating students to confidently pursue knowledge and build their future careers.

It is worth noting that, in preparation for the event, HUTECH previously organized 10 training sessions titled “Skills for Winning Over Recruiters” to help students improve their CVs, strengthen interview skills, and better understand current recruitment trends. Through these workshops, students were equipped with many practical skills, including building professional application profiles, highlighting personal strengths, communication and interview techniques, professional working styles, and adaptability in corporate environments.
