On May 7, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) continued its discussions with the Honorary Vice Consul of Spain to further explore directions for academic cooperation between the parties.
The meeting followed up on the previous discussion held on March 27, aiming to further specify potential cooperation activities
During the meeting, Mr. José Sánchez-Barroso and Mr. Jorge Martín Martínez presented proposals related to the development of international academic cooperation between European and Vietnamese educational institutions. The discussion focused on opportunities for educational collaboration, research cooperation, and the expansion of international partnership networks in the future.

Representing HUTECH, Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung highly appreciated the partner’s role in connecting the University with prestigious educational institutions in Spain, particularly University of Barcelona and CETT Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. In the coming period, the parties will continue discussing the possibility of implementing collaborative academic pathways, including a potential 2+2 international transfer model.

In particular, HUTECH announced that the University will welcome a delegation from the University of Barcelona for a visit and working session on May 15.
