With the goal of strengthening international connections and expanding global learning opportunities for students, on May 18, the Faculty of Korean Studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting with Kangwon National University to discuss future directions for academic collaboration.

In an open and collaborative atmosphere, representatives from both institutions discussed a wide range of topics related to education, culture, and industry engagement. Proposed areas of cooperation focused on organizing Vietnam-Korea student exchange activities, academic competitions, public speaking contests, cultural experience programs, and other initiatives aimed at helping students strengthen their language proficiency, global competencies, and understanding of international learning environments.

During the meeting, the Faculty of Korean Studies introduced its educational orientation and emphasized its commitment to expanding academic exchange, internship, and international experience opportunities for students. The representative also shared experience in implementing international cooperation initiatives in recent years, from developing learning content and designing program duration to establishing student support policies, all aimed at enabling students to effectively engage in multicultural learning environments.

On behalf of Kangwon National University, the university representative introduced academic offerings, admission targets, study duration, scholarship policies, and participation requirements for international students. Korean language proficiency was highlighted as one of the key requirements, with TOPIK Level 4 or above required for certain programs.
